My name is Harlan F. Schott and I am a semi-retired manager/owner of a family owned investment company, D&H Enterprises, LLC located in Vermillion, SD. I am a native of McLaughlin, SD.

I began my undergraduate studies at South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD and received a business and animal science degree from the University of Nebraska; Lincoln, NE. I also received a Banking graduate school degree from the University of Wisconsin.

I began my career as a fat cattle buyer for American Stores, Lincoln, NE and other packing companies in Kansas and Nebraska. I then served for 25 years as an Agriculture and Commercial Lender for bank groups in South Dakota and Nebraska. In 2003 I retired from First Dakota National Bank. I am also a US Army Veteran.

My wife Donna and I have been married for 10 years. Our children are grown and we have three granddaughters.
