Richard Wiarda
Director

Richard grew up on a farm near Castlewood, South Dakota. He attended South Dakota State University and received a degree in both Microbiology and Dairy Science Manufacturing. After graduating from SDSU he worked for dairy processing plants in Illinois in various management positions. He returned to the family farm in 1982 and runs a grain and livestock operation.

Richard is an Elder and past treasurer of the Watertown Presbyterian Church. He and his wife, Lois, have three children; Austin, Brandon, and Case.

Wiarda serves as an alternate board member for GLE on the Redfield Energy, LLC Board of Directors.
