Aberdeen Energy Construction Update (2/29/08)
We are still on track for a May 2008 start up in lieu of the severe cold weather we have had this year. Fagen, Inc our builder continues to work 7 days week and we have a total of 270 workers on site to date. The Process Building is 98% enclosed with steel siding. The wetcake pad is under construction. The Energy Center is 60% complete and R&R Contracting has about 75% of the rail loop complete with a final completion date of mid March. Piping in Process and Fermentation areas continues. Fagen has began insulating process tanks and piping and  B&B Contracting are installing the force main and wet well for the plant effluent water discharge. GLE has been sponsoring a monthly cookout with the most recent one on February 13 for the construction employees. These cookouts are much appreciated with the cold weather. The cooling tower is almost complete with the exception of pumps and piping. Dry wall is installed in the offices, lab, control, etc in the process building.
