James A. Seurer
Chief Financial Officer

James Seurer joined the GLE team as Chief Financial Officer in March 2007. Before joining GLE, he was the CFO for South Dakota Soybean Processors, LLC and Minnesota Soybean Processors Inc. , two separate soybean crushing entities with aggregate revenues of more than $450 million.

Seurer is a native of Hoven, SD. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting and Business Management from Northern State University in Aberdeen.

Jim spent nearly 18 years in the financial institution industry in Denver which included four years as Chief Financial Officer at Red Rocks Federal Credit Union and fourteen years as a Problem Case Officer and Federal Examiner with the National Credit Union Administration. In March 2005, he and his family returned to South Dakota.

A licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Colorado and a member of the Society of CPA’s in both Colorado and South Dakota, Jim and his wife, DeeDee, live in Brookings, SD with their daughter and three sons.
